Grateful Dead Productions
The Grateful Dead's official website (not a fan site) is dead.net.
They were ready for a new "look and feel" for the site,
and gave me the nod to come up with a fresh approach that included
some of their early iconography. The result has a bit of a proscenium
/ concert feeling to it, and yet provides a clean interface.
I designed and developed the user interface and graphics, and
did the html / CSS scripting for the site.
FURTHUR TOUR HOMEPAGE
Grateful Dead Productions and SRA Networks
The website for FURTHUR (sic) 2000 displays information about
the FURTHUR concert tour of former members of the Grateful Dead
(Mickey Hart, Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann), who played with Bruce
Hornsby, Steve Kimock, Mark Karan, and Alphonso Johnson. I designed
and developed the graphics and the user interface, and assisted
in html coding.
MICKEY HART - Edge of Magic and Planet Drum
360° Production
In an early career break from my past as a computer consultant
for large corporations, I assisted in the research and editing
of two fascinating books on the history of percussion. "Planet
Drum" and "Drumming at the Edge of Magic" are collaborations
of Mickey Hart, percussionist of the Grateful Dead and Planet
Drum, and Fredric Lieberman, ethnomusicology professor at U.C.S.C.
